NASA ASTROBIOLOGY COMMUNITY TOWN HALL MEETING, Sept 8, 2023, virtual, 1:00-4:00 pm ET

September 8, 12:45 pm ET: We have just learned that NASA’s Science Mission Directorate is holding a community Town Hall meeting on astrobiology from 1:00-4:00 pm ET.  The meeting is not listed on NASA’s website for SMD Town Hall meetings.

It features David Grinspoon, the newly appointed Senior Scientist for Astrobiology Strategy. Some in the astrobiology community are unclear as to what that job is and how it aligns with other astrobiology leaders at NASA, so perhaps this meeting will clarify the situation.
