Update, May 28: If launch takes place on May 30, this event will be on May 30 at 6:30 pm ET.
Update, May 27, 5:15 pm ET: The launch was scrubbed due to weather. They will try again on Saturday, May 30, at 3:22 pm ET. NASA Administrator Bridenstine tweeted that some sort of remarks will be made once the crew is out of the spacecraft, but no earlier than 5:20 pm ET.
Update, May 26: The time has changed to 7:30 pm ET because President Trump will attend the launch and will speak at the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at 6:00 pm ET.
Original Entry: NASA and SpaceX will hold a post-launch press conference for the SpaceX Demo-2 crewed test flight to the International Space Station on May 27, 2020 at 6:00 pm ET at Kennedy Space Center. Launch is scheduled for 4:32 pm ET that day.
Participants in the press conference are:
- NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine
- Kathy Lueders, manager, NASA’s Commercial Crew Program
- SpaceX representative
- Kirk Shireman, manager, International Space Station Program
- Pat Forrester, Chief of NASA astronaut office
The event will be broadcast on NASA TV.
