NORTHROP GRUMMAN’S CYGNUS-23 DEPARTS ISS, Mar 12, 2026, Earth orbit, 7:00 am ET

Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus-23 cargo spacecraft will depart the International Space Station on March 12, 2026.
The Canadarm2 robotic arm will detach Cygnus from the Unity module’s Earth-facing port and maneuver it into position for release at 7:00 am ET. NASA coverage begins at 6:45 am ET on NASA+, Amazon Prime, and the agency’s YouTube channel.
Cygnus-23 will be commanded to deorbit the next day. Filled with trash, it will burn up in the atmosphere.

The next Cygnus, Cygnus-24, is targeted to launch no earlier than April 8.
