Event Navigation
NASA will provide live coverage of the rendezvous and docking of Russia’s Progress MS-28 cargo spacecraft with the International Space Station on August 17, 2024. Docking is scheduled for 1:56 am ET. NASA coverage begins at 1:00 am ET.
NASA also will provide coverage of the launch, which is scheduled for August 14 at 11:20 pm ET.
NASA calls this Progress 89 because it is the 89th Progress spacecraft to deliver cargo to the ISS. Many more Progresses were launched before the ISS was built to support Russia’s own space stations — Salyut 6, Salyut 7 and Mir — beginning in 1978.
