Update, August 20: Roscosmos reported that Luna-25 crashed into the Moon because of whatever happened yesterday. An investigation is underway.
Update, August 19: Roscosmos reported an anomaly with Luna-25 today and it is not clear if they still expect to land on August 21. It seems unlikely. We will post any updates we get here.
Original Entry: Russia’s Luna-25 is currently scheduled to land on the Moon on August 21, 2023 according to the Russia’s TASS news agency.
The time was not specified and it could be the landing will be August 20 EDT, which is 7 hours behind Moscow Time.
The date could also change. We will post any updates we get on this website.
