SENATE COMMERCE CMTE HRG ON ISS: STAKEHOLDER PERSPECTIVES, June 6, 2018, DC, 2:15 pm ET (webcast)

The Space, Science, and Competitiveness Subcommittee of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will hold the second of a series of hearings on the future of the International Space Station (ISS) on June 6, 2018 at 2:15 pm ET in 253 Russell Senate Office Building. This hearing is entitled “Examining the the Future of the International Space Station: Stakeholder Perspectives.”  (The first hearing, on Administration Perspectives, was held on May 16, 2018.)

The committee usually webcasts its hearings on its website.

Scheduled witnesses are:

  • Ms. Cynthia Bouthot, Director of Commercial Innovation & Sponsored Programs, Center for the Advancement of Science in Space
  • Mr. Jim Chilton, Senior Vice President, Space and Launch, The Boeing Company
  • Mr. Bob Mitchell, President, Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership
  • Mr. Michael Suffredini, Chief Executive Officer and President, Axiom Space

Note:  the original witness list included Mitch Daniels, President, Purdue University, but an updated list omitting his name was released on May 31.  The witness list remains subject to change.
