SENATE COMMERCE CMTE MARKUP OF NOMINATIONS FOR FCC, NOAA, Dec 1, 2021, DC, 10:15 am ET

The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will meet in Executive Session on December 1, 2021 in 253 Russell Senate Office Building at 10:15 am ET to vote on several nominations.

Among them are the nominations of Jessica Rosenworcel to be Chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Jainey Kumar Bavishi to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, a position that is also Deputy Administrator of NOAA.

Immediately after the Executive Session, the committee will convene a hearing on other nominations, including Gigi Sohn to be an FCC Commissioner.
