Update, August 15: NASA has decided to move UP by two days the roll back to the launch pad. It now will begin on Tuesday, August 16, at 9:00 pm ET. Livestreaming begins at 3:00 pm ET.
ARTEMIS I UPDATE: Targeting the time of 9 p.m. EST tomorrow, Aug. 16, to roll out the @NASA_SLS rocket & @NASA_Orion spacecraft to Launch Pad 39B at @NASAKennedy for Artemis I, launching no earlier than Aug 29.

Original Entry: The Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft will once again roll out to Launch Complex 39-B on August 18, 2022 beginning at about 6:00 pm ET. It takes 8-12 hours to make the 4 mile trip. It will be livestreamed on Kennedy Space Center’s You Tube channel.
The previous two roll outs were for pre-launch tests. This time it is for the actual launch of the Artemis I uncrewed test flight around the Moon, currently scheduled for August 29, 2022.
