SOYUZ MS-13 LAUNCH AND DOCKING, July 20, 2019, Kazakhstan, 12:28 pm ET (9:28 pm local time at launch site)

Soyuz MS-13 is scheduled to liftoff from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on July 20, 2019 at 9:28 pm local time (12:28 pm Eastern Daylight Time) taking three crew members to the International Space Station (ISS).  Launch time has been slightly refined from 9:25 pm ET.  They will dock at the International Space Station about 6 hours later.

The three crew are:

  • Andrew “Drew” Morgan (NASA)
  • Luca Parmitano (ESA)
  • Alexander Skvortsov (Roscosmos)

July 20 is the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing on the Moon.

NASA TV will cover launch and docking as follows:

  • Launch, 12:28 pm ET (NASA TV coverage begins 11:30 am ET)
  • Docking, 6:50 pm ET (NASA TV coverage begins 6:00 pm ET)
  • Hatch Opening, about 8:50 pm ET (NASA TV coverage begins 8:00 pm ET)
