SPACE WEATHER AS A GLOBAL CHALLENGE 2019 (SWF/STATE DEPT), Sept 26, 2019, DC, 6:00-8:30 pm ET

On September 26, 2019 from 6:00-8:30 pm ET, the Secure World Foundation (SWF)  and the State Department will host an evening panel discussion:  Space Weather as a Global Challenge 2019.

The event immediately follows the day-long Next Step Space Weather Benchmarks Town Hall meeting sponsored by NASA and NSF.

The SWF/State Department even will take place at SWF’s offices, 1779 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington, DC.

Speakers are:

  • Jean-Luc Bald, First Secretary, Space Global Issues & Innovation Section, Delegation of the European Union to the United States of America
  • Jeff O’Neil, Legislative Director, Office of Congressman Ed Perlmutter (CO-07)
  • Geoffrey Reevesm Research Fellow, Los Alamos National Lab
  • Josh Wolny, Project Manager, Secure World Foundation (moderator)
