STA LUNCHEON WITH DAVE PIERCE (NASA-WALLOPS) AND DALE NASH (VIRGINIA SPACE), Oct 3, 2019, DC, 11:30-1:00 pm ET (invitation only)

The Space Transportation Association (STA) will hold an event on October 3, 2019 in 2325 Rayburn House Office Building from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm ET.  It features Dave Pierce, Director of NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, and Dale Nash, CEO and Executive Director of Virginia Space.  They will provide an overview and update of Virginia Space’s Mid-Altantic Regional Spaceport (MARS), located at Wallops. It is the launch site for Northrop Grumman’s Antares rocket and soon will also be the location of a second launch site for Rocket Lab’s Electron (its Launch Complex 1 is in New Zealand).
