THE SPACE FORCE IN HISTORICAL CONTEXT (NASM/STPI), Aug 23, 2018, DC, 4:00-5:30 pm ET (webcast)

The next Space Policy and History Forum will take place on August 23, 2018 from 4:00-5:30 pm ET. Sponsored by the National Air and Spac Museum (NASM) and the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI) of the Institute for Defense Analyses, this event will take place at STPI’s offices at 1701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC.

The topic is “The Space Force in Historical Context” and features a panel of the following individuals:

  • Laurence Burke, Curator of U.S. Naval Aviation, NASM
  • Richard Hallion, Senior Advisory for Air and Space Issues, Directorate for Security, Counterintelligence and Special Programs Oversight at the Pentagon
  • Doug Loverro, Independent Consultant, Loverro Consulting, LLC, and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy
  • Mark Lewis, STPI Director, moderator
