UPDATE, AUGUST 21, 2018: The White House confirmed today that Pence will visit JSC on Thursday after a breakfast fundraiser for Rep. John Culberson. NASA issued a press release stating that he will make remarks as 12:45 pm Central Time (1:45 pm Eastern) that will be broadcast on NASA TV and the agency’s website. The topic is the “future of human space exploration and the agency’s plan to return to the Moon as a forerunner to future human missions to Mars.”

Vice President Pence will visit NASA’s Johnson Space Center next Thursday, August 23. While at JSC, Vice President Pence will receive a briefing from NASA leadership and deliver remarks to NASA employees.
