The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is conducting a study for NASA on “Science Strategy for the Human Exploration of Mars.”
On September 19, 2024 from 12:00-1:30 pm ET, the study committee will hold a virtual town hall meeting over Zoom where members of the community can learn about the study and speak for up to 2 minutes about their views.
A second Town Hall will be held in October, date TBD, for those who cannot participate in this one.

A Science Strategy for the Human Exploration of Mars invites members of the community to a public townhall-style virtual webinar on September 19 at noon to 1:30 PM eastern time. The webinar will start with an overview of A Science Strategy for the Human Exploration of Mars followed by 1 hour of open mic time where members of the community can speak for up to 2 minutes at a time to provide public input to this study. The webinar will be recorded and transcribed. An additional webinar will occur in late October for members of the community who cannot attend this first webinar.
