WORLD SPACE WEEK, Oct 4-10, 2023, global

World Space Week takes place every year from October 4-10 to mark the beginning of the Space Age on October 4, 1957 with the launch of Sputnik by the Soviet Union and the entry into force of the U.N. Outer Space Treaty on October 10, 1967.

This year (2023) the annual International Astronautical Conference is taking place during part of that time in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Events take place globally, however.  World Space Week has its own website to keep up to date on what’s planned.
