Brian Dewhurst Leaving NRC to Join NASA

Brian Dewhurst is leaving the National Research Council to join NASA’s Office of Program Analysis and Evaluation (PA&E).

Mr. Dewhurst joined the NRC as a research associate for the Space Studies Board (SSB) and over the past seven years has advanced to Program Officer for the Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board. Most recently he was co-study director for the America’s Future in Space report (the “Lyles report”), and one of the primary study directors for the astronomy and astrophysics decadal survey Astro2010. Astro2010 is a joint effort between the Board on Physics and Astronomy (BPA) and SSB. Mr. Dewhurst worked for BPA for several of the years he was at the NRC.
