CHASING NEW HORIZONS: INSIDE THE EPIC FIRST MISSION TO PLUTO, May 1, 2018, DC, 7:00-8:00 pm ET

Alan Stern and David Grinspoon will discuss and participate in a book signing for their new book “Chasing New Horizons: Inside the Epic First Mission to Pluto” at the Politics and Prose bookstore, 5015 Connecticut Ave, NW, Washington, DC from 7:00-8:00 pm ET on May 1, 2018.

The New Horizons spacecraft was the first to fly by Pluto (in 2015) and is now enroute to fly past a Kuiper Belt object at the outer edge of the solar system on New Year’s Eve 2018-2019.

Stern is the Principal Investigator of the New Horizons mission.  Grinspoon is the author of Earth in Human Hands and inaugural Chair of Astrobiology at the Library of Congress.
