NASA SMD TOWN HALL MEETING: MSR IRB RESPONSE TEAM (MIRT) UPDATE, ?, 2024, virtual

Update, January 9:  NASA confirms the meeting has been cancelled for now. A new date has not been set.

Update, January 6: This meeting is no longer listed on the SMD website for Town Hall meetings. We’re checking to see if it’s been cancelled or postponed.

Original Entry: NASA’s Science Mission Directorate (SMD) will hold a virtual Town Hall meeting on January 17, 2024 from 3:30-4:30 pm ET to provide an update on NASA’s response to the report from the Mars Sample Return (MSR) Independent Review Board-2 (IRB-2) that was released in September 2023.  SMD Deputy Administrator Sandra Connelly is leading NASA’s response to the IRB-2’s recommendations, which is expected to be completed in March.
